Riverwest Youth Development 

COA’s Youth Development Program empowers children to reach their full potential - academically, socially, and emotionally. Our program provides a safe and enriching space where youth ages 5 to 12 can receive homework help, enjoy a healthy dinner, explore through field trips, and engage in active outdoor play. 

Daily Schedule & Shuttle Service

General Daily Schedule:


We align our schedule with the MPS School Calendar. COA Riverwest full day child care is only available on MPS off days.

2:30-5:00 Students arrive from school
3:00-4:00 Snack Time, Homework Help
4:00-4:30 Dinner
4:30-5:30 Clubs and Camps (See descriptions on left side)
5:30-6:00 Dismissal, playground if weather permits

Riverwest Shuttle Service

COA offers daily after school pick-up within a 1.5-mile radius, with a modest $10 monthly fee to our Riverwest Center. 

 

$10 Monthly fee, COA accepts both Wisconsin Shares and private pay.

 

This shuttle service runs between 2:20-4:30 PM (subject to change depending on school release times). Youth ages 5 and up are eligible for the shuttle service.

MPS off days: 6:30am – 6:00p
We are a drop-in site, and student’s are transported via school bus, parent drop off, or COA shuttle service between the above listed times.

Please connect with our COA Riverwest Early Education Center Program Team, by requesting a tour, to get sent registration paperwork. They are also included in the "Welcome" packet that can be picked up in person.
