For 120 years, COA Youth & Family Centers has created meaningful, life-shaping experiences for thousands of Milwaukee’s young people, building a legacy as Wisconsin’s longest-standing camp organization.
That legacy lives on at Camp Helen Brachman in Almond, Wisconsin. Set across more than 200 acres of rolling prairie and towering pines, camp offers a safe, welcoming space where every young person can grow. Guided by dedicated, highly trained staff, campers build independence, strengthen their confidence, and develop a deeper sense of connection-to others, to nature, and to themselves.

Every moment is designed to create experiences that stay with campers long after camp ends.
We take pride in offering a wide variety of activities for every camper to explore. From water adventures and sports to hands-on nature experiences, there’s something for every child to discover, enjoy, and grow in confidence as they build new skills and find what they love.
