COA Youth & Family Centers was established in 1906 to serve low-income children and families in Milwaukee. We focus on three core areas: Early Child Development, Youth Development, and Community Development. Family is at the center of all we do.
COA’s Family Resource Centers provide parenting classes, arts and crafts, community resources and more to families.
COA provides after-school and summer programming for preteens (6-12) and teens (13-18) at two urban community centers and eight Milwaukee schools, including academics, sports, visual and performing arts, leadership building and more.
Youth attend COA’s Camp Helen Brachman in central Wisconsin at summer camps, winter camps and year-round family camps.
