After school and throughout the summer, COA’s Youth Development program engages children ages 7-18 in positive activities designed to help build character, achieve academically, promote health and wellness, and have a good time. Programs are offered in safe and nurturing environments at our Riverwest and Goldin Community Centers, and our eight Community Learning Centers: Auer Avenue Elementary, Doerfler School, OW Holmes School, Hopkins-Lloyd Community School, Lincoln Center of the Arts Middle School, Riley School, Washington High School and Riverside University High Schools. Opportunities abound for our participants including individualized homework help in our Daniel M. Soref Scholars program, ways to earn free Driver Ed education, sports teams including Badges for Baseball and so much more.
