Project Description

COA Youth & Family Centers is committed to helping mothers reach their greatest potential by providing the tools and support they need to succeed. We are thrilled to announce a brand-new partnership between COA, Stork & Company Wisconsin, and the Baby Box Company to provide vital supplies and educational resources for new parents living in Milwaukee.

As part of the Baby Box Company’s new Baby Box University program, new parents are eligible to receive a free kit that includes a colorful infant bed, called a baby box, which comes with infant care items such as diapers, onesies, breastfeeding items, and more. The boxes are guaranteed non-toxic, chemical-free, and environmentally-safe sleep spaces. The program is modeled on the 75-year old Baby Box tradition in Finland, which studies have shown has helped promote one of the lowest infant mortality rates in the world.

Parents may receive their free Baby Box after completing an online educational program. Applicants can sign up today at BabyBoxUniversity.com, and should select the “Milwaukee” syllabus. Parenting topics that are featured in the program include breastfeeding, sleep safety, vaccines and more. After completing the curriculum (about 20 minutes of video, followed by a brief quiz), parents will receive a certificate which they can redeem at our centers to receive their free Baby Box!
