Help Us Celebrate
Our First 100 Years!
COA Youth And Family Centers celebrates its
100th Anniversary of service in Milwaukee!
The Personal Relief Society, precursor to the Children's Outing Association and now known as COA Youth & Family Centers, was founded in 1906 to operate a camp for the needy immigrant Jewish children of Milwaukee. To discover more about our beginnings, go to Jewish Historical web site:
http://milwaukeejewishhistorical.com.
Today, COA Youth & Family Centers provides non-sectarian camping and year round programs including early education, a family center, GED training and youth leadership development.* Much has changed over the years, but our focus has remained the same. COA's mission has always been to enhance the lives of children and families in the Milwaukee community.
To celebrate our first 100 years, we have put together a timeline which links to pages filled with photos and historical information about our organization.
