COA’s Youth Development programs have been selected for participation in the one-year Beyond the Bell Youth Program Quality Intervention (YPQI) pilot this fall. This city-wide initiative to improve the quality of out-of-school time programs for youth ages 13-18 aims to enhance the capacity of youth-serving organizations to measure, assess, and improve program delivery through shared standards and data-driven improvements. Staff from participating agencies will receive training and support resources and have opportunities to participate in professional development sessions with local and national experts. Beyond the Bell YPQI is made possible with the philanthropic support of the Burke Foundation, Community Advocates Brighter Futures, Donors Forum of Wisconsin, and the Helen Bader Foundation. A complete list of Youth Serving Agency Partners, Institutional Partners, and National Allies as well as more information on Beyond the Bell can be found here.
