News! COA is proud to announce that we have exceeded our $5.8 million goal!!

The 100th Anniversary Campaign Has:

  • Created a city-wide community center at 24th and Burleigh to serve 3,000 additional children, teens, and families annually.
  • Increased camping opportunities for inner-city youth by eliminating waiting lists with expanded scholarship funds and a new cabin to accommodate an additional 50 young campers each summer.
  • Provided support for programming at COA's pre-teen and teen centers.
  • Created a new park and family programming.
  • Provided funding for staff training and enhancement.

COA's New Goldin Center

COA Youth & Family Centers has expanded its highly successful programs into one of the most distressed neighborhoods in Milwaukee, one with exceedingly high poverty and crime rates. Through careful strategic planning, COA has been able to impact an additional 2,000 families through the acquisition of an urban community center at the corner of 24th and Burleigh.
